The homely atmosphere in both rooms makes "De Lokeend" an excellent place for your family parties, birthdays, weddings, wedding anniversaries and communion parties.

You choose the formula yourself: this can be a dinner or a buffet while sitting at the table. Our elongated tables are beautifully covered with nice tablecloths and napkins. The tables and the room are decorated with flowers and candlelight.

If you prefer a looser formula, you can opt for a walking buffet.
A kind of evening reception is also possible. Drinks and snacks are placed on the differtent tables that are spread in the room. The guests stand up. We do provide a reasonable number of chairs to give your tired feet some rest.

In summer it is wonderful to have an aperitif in the courtyard. Children can also play outside for a while, but it is not a playground, as there are many fragile decorative flower pots.

The cheapest formula is a Sunday afternoon brunch, for example from 11 a.m. to 2 or 3 p.m., after which a guided city walk can follow. The walk can also precede brunch according to your own wishes.

How about a nice, relaxing afternoon tea on a Sunday afternoon, perhaps after a baptism ceremony?
